Cuddle with KuneKune Pigs Experience

Service Description

Our KuneKune Pig Experience lasts approximately 1 .5 hrs. You will learn about the history of the KuneKune Pig, their recovery from being nearly extinct in the 80's, and what makes them so unique. While learning about our special KuneKune pigs, you will get a chance to meet some of our adult pigs. I will have treats prepared for you to feed to the pigs and you'll have a chance to learn how to make them sit to get their treats. At any given time, we typically have ~30 pigs that make up the "Stephenson Farms Herd" with ages ranging from a couple weeks to 7 years old. At this time you will also be able to give some love and attention to a few of our adult pigs. After meeting our adult pigs, you will get to spend some time in the piglet pen, and depending on their age, you may be able to feed them some treats. Before wrapping up your KuneKune experience, you will also have an opportunity for a visit with our cows, donkeys, and goats for treats + pets. The KuneKune Experience is a private tour that includes ONLY you + your group. Please be aware this is a farm, dress appropriately, and prepare to get a little dirty. Pigs love mud. We highly advise wearing close toed shoes, piglets like to chew on toes. Hiking or rain/mud boots are the best option. We will be outside and there is a high probability that you will get a little dirty. Pay attention to the weather and dress accordingly. Long pants are recommended even when its hot but short sleeved shirts are fine.
